At the Annual White House Correspondence Dinner last night in Washington DC, there was an abundance of flair and famous funny moments. From a proverbial “roasting” of Donald Trump by President Barack Obama and comedian/host, Seth Meyers of SNL, to the “elegant meets edgy” of First Lady, Michelle Obama, this dinner was a night to remember.
So what does one wear to a dinner where one of your beloved husband’s most recent adversaries is in attendance? A feminine gown, and warrior diamond jewelry fit to go into battle if necessary – what else?! 😉
The first lady wore a dusty rosey cocoa  colored gown from the Halston Fall 2008 collection….

Pair that with her curly do, and it’s a nice look for the First Lady.Very smart styling, as a brown dress on brown skin definitely needs something to make it pop to avoid the possibility of looking drab and/or washed out.
