Is Anna Wintour really the “dragon lady”, the “devil”, or the cold-hearted woman as portrayed in The Devil Wears Prada? I liked her as I watched tonight’s 60 Minutes feature on CBS. (I also liked the character played by stylemom Meryl Streep). She too is a mother, who I’m sure has had to make an unfathomable amount of personal sacrifices to be the leading figure in the fashion world for 20 years.
But the real question is this: Why is it that when a man is driven, powerful, tough, and successful at business he is called a mogul, and when a woman displays the same attributes, such as Anna Wintour, she is called “dragon lady” or the “devil”? hmmmmm….watch the 60 minutes interview and you decide – is she a devil?
