When I walked into the Leifsdottir S/S 2010 presentation during New York Fashion Week, I was whisked away to another time and place. Casablanca meets 1950′s French Riviera, the loft had been transformed to a land of palm leaves and tropical bird cages.
Created by one of Finland’s finest, and Anthropologie design director, Johanna Uurasjarvi, the Leifsdottir collection was filled with wonderful pleating, folds, and detailing, with a wide array of color and prints. The epitome of vintage chic, Leifsdottir had pieces that both mother and daughter can wear for a classic, feminine, and fresh look.
