The highlight for most at the conference was the infamous and most fabulous comedienne and entertainer, Joan Rivers. With wine in hand, Joan made her way to the stage, and proceeded to inspire us to laugh, not be afraid to take risks, show off our “assets”, and have a “just do it” attitude when it comes to being a mom and having a career – why? Because we can that’s why.

As the former EIC of Yahoo! Shine, Brandon Holley clearly has insight into immense influence of mothers and women in social media and the impact this coveted consumer group has on brands. This is evident that after only a few short month’s at Lucky under Holley, the magazine has launched a blogger network/conference as well as the debut of Lucky Kids magazine in April, a perfect addition for moms to find the most stylish shopping finds for their kids.

After an entire day of networking and fellowship with some of our favorite friends in fashion and beauty, along with making new friends, I couldn’t leave the conference without having a glass of wine, some delicious treats, and striking a pose for the camera…complete with a diva fan to get the wind blown hair look and all 😉
