Every Mom Has Her Own Unique Chic: 1-800-Flowers Spot A Mom

the mom scene mothers day the mom scene lifestyle home garden green living On a gorgeous day in NYC, I headed over to Buckingham Hotel for the 1-800 Flowers “Spot A Mom” campaign kick off event. It was a warm and wonderful vibe as I entered the Penthouse atop the hotel. There were beautiful moms, some with their babies, fantabulous flowers, and a wonderful view of the city. The 1-800 Flowers and MWW team were exceptional hosts and created a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.

Already impressed by the passion of the members of this family-owned business, the CEO of 1-800 flowers, Jim McCann, delivered an even more impressive message that day: “…every mom is special and unique in her own way. Even if you can’t get them flowers or a gift (very recession conscious icon wink the mom scene mothers day the mom scene lifestyle home garden green living ), send or make them a card, give them a call, do whatever you can to let them know how special they are….”

Spot A Mom’s mission: There are 82.5 million moms in the US. Our mission this Mother’s Day is to make sure no mother gets left behind.

Finally, I was able to spend some time with my fellow online mommy muses as well, including: Victoria Pericon (Veep Veep), Carol Cain (NY City Mama) and Lisa Perez (New York Chica) who had her precious babes in tow. We chatted and enjoyed the creative flower displays, delectable delights, yummy fruity spritzers, and some of us even created mini floral arrangements.

On our way out, we were able to select a Spot A Mom t-shirt  for ourselves and our mother, or a mom in our life. Each shirt had a different type of mom on the front and I chose “Mom of a Mom” for my mother. Which mom description do you think I chose for myself? Check out the different moms at 1-800 Flowers Spot A Mom and leave a comment and tell me your guess!

  1. I think we often forget how important our mothers are, that is why events like these are needed to keep on reminding us how blessed we are.
